Bike Local is an independently owned small business that aims to provide goods and services for bicyclists to maximize their urban environment.

We encourage limiting the amount of cars on the road and supporting local shops and eateries, hence the tagline, eat local, shop local, stay local.

Founded in 2013 by Rashad Captan, a commuting professor at the local University, Bike Local reflects an active & easy-going Long Beach lifestyle. We focus on sustainability, sourcing locally, and reinvesting in our community.

We are a family of everyday riders who love what we do. Regardless if you’re a cruiser or a racer, Bike Local is here for you.
